Event Details

2020 marks the 29th year of the All Ford Day. The event caters for over 1200 Ford vehicles on display in one of the largest single make event in Australia! Ford vehicles of all types, ages and models will be joined by classic race and muscle cars, hotrods, street machines, celebrities, automotive industry displays and entertainment for the whole family!

  • Date: Sunday 16th February 2020
  • Time: 9am to 3 pm (spectators)

    (Vehicles may enter from 7:00 am. All show cars must be on site by 10:00 am)

Please carefully consider your route to the All Ford Day as there may be delays due to the volume of traffic associated with the event.

 


GETTING THERE – Pre-registered Display and Judged vehicles

If you have preregistered as an individual or club, please enter via GATE 1 from 7 AM.

GATE 1 From Melbourne: Take the Norlane/Anakie exit from the Geelong Ring Road and turn left. Take the first exit at the roundabout onto Matthews Road until the end, then veer right onto Plantation Road. Sutcliffe Reserve will be on your left.

GATE 1 From Geelong: Make your way to Anakie Road. Take the 3rd exit at the roundabout onto Matthews Road until the end then veer right onto Plantation Road. Sutcliffe Reserve will be on your left.

FINDING YOUR DISPLAY SITE

If you are a non-club display vehicle, please park in site #23.
If you are a non-club judged vehicle, please park in site #18.
Once you have entered the site, one of our volunteers will check your ticket and direct you to the scanning station.
Don’t forget to bring your ticket with barcode as this will be require for entry.

PLEASE HAVE YOUR BARCODE READY FOR SCANNING

Display vehicles may enter from7:00 am.
No pets, no BYO alcohol, no fires and no BBQ’s at the event.
Shade structures and picnics are welcome.


GETTING THERE – Spectators and Pay-On-The-Day display vehicles

If you are visiting the event as a spectator or are paying on the day for vehicle display, please enter via GATE 2. Display vehiclesmay enter from 7am. Spectators may enter from 9am.

GATE 2 From Melbourne: Exit from Geelong Ring Road at Bacchus Marsh Rd C407 exit. Take the third exit at the roundabout onto Plantation Road. Sutcliffe Reserve will be on your right.

GATE 2 From Geelong: Make your way to Bacchus Marsh Rd C407. Take the 1st exit at the roundabout onto Plantation Road. Sutcliffe Reserve will be on your right.


Public Transport

If you are getting to the event via public transport then you will need to take the Route 23 bus which will take you to the gate of the event. If you are travelling from Melbourne or other locations in Geelong then the main connection point will be Geelong station. So that you are able to plan your trip we recommend that you use the PTV’s Journey planner which will show you the best way to get from any location through the public transport system.


JUDGING

If your vehicle is registered for judging, you must come to the Info Tent promptly to sign in and collect your Judging sticker.

Judging will commence from 9.30 am.

Please display the judging sticker on the drivers side of the windscreen.

FAILURE TO DISPLAY YOUR TICKET WILL EXCLUDE YOU FROM JUDGING
FAILURE TO PARK IN YOUR SPECIFIED LOCATION MAY EXCLUDE YOU FROM JUDGING

There are no Pay-On-The-Day judged entries.


TOW VEHICLES AND TRAILERS & Event Rules

Tow vehicles with trailers are to unload their display cars in the Tow Vehicle & Trailer Parking Area. Entrants may then move the display vehicle to the appropriate area of the show arena.

YOU MUST PARK ONLY IN THE AREA ALLOCATED TO YOU.

For Insurance and Safety Purposes, A Condition Of Entry Is That All Vehicles Must Remain Stationary Until After The Presentation Of Trophies (3pm).


LEAVING THE EVENT

Vehicles must remain stationary until the presentation of trophies.
